Mr. Justice (Retd) Ali Nawaz Chowhan, President Pakistan Japan Cultural Association (PJCA), Islamabad expressed his profound grief at the sad demise of legendary Japanese wrestler Antonio Inoki who passed away at the age of 79. On behalf of the Executive Members of PJCA he sent a condolence letter to the Ambassador of Japan in Pakistan H.E. Mr. WADA Mitsuhiro. He expressed his deep sorrow to the Family of the bereaved and to the people of Japan. Japan has truly lost a great wrestler, a politician and a cultural relationship builder, he wrote. May God rest his soul in everlasting peace in Heavens, he prayed. He conveyed his condolences from the depth of his heart to the near ones of late Inoki.
In his letter the President PJCA appreciated the contributions of late Inoki to expand the existing bilateral cultural relations between Pakistan and Japan and hoped that the connections he built in this regard will continue to deepen the people to people contact in future. His love for Pakistan would be remembered for a long time and we as Pakistani would never forget his contributions towards better cultural ties between the two countries, he added in his letter.
