At the initiative of President PJCA Justice (R) Ali Nawaz Chohan, Mr. Zaheer Bhatti, Secretary General PJCA and Mr. Mushtaq Moeeni, Joint Secretary/Focal Person PJCA, Islamabad had a meeting with Mr. Ryuji Iwasaki, Head of Public Affairs Section of the Embassy of Japan, Islamabad on September 16, 2021 at the Embassy premises to discuss the future plans of action to promote further the existing cultural cooperation between Pakistan and Japan. During the meeting celebrations of 70th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Japan were discussed. In this connections PJCA also proposed to coincide its own 50th Anniversary of the founding of Pakistan Japan Cultural Association with the 70th Anniversary of Pakistan Japan diplomatic relations.
