A Legacy of Friendship

Founded in 1972, the Pakistan Japan Cultural Association (PJCA), Islamabad is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to strengthening the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Japan through culture, dialogue, education, and people-to-people exchange.

A Community of Purpose

PJCA brings together diplomats, academics, professionals, artists, students, and cultural practitioners who share a genuine and sustained interest in both Pakistan and Japan. Membership reflects responsibility, seriousness, and commitment—not symbolism.

This Is Not a Casual Membership

PJCA is not a social club or an entertainment forum. It is a platform for those who are deeply invested in cultural engagement. If you are seeking occasional events or passive association, PJCA may not be the right place.
However, if you are a true admirer of Pakistani and Japanese cultures, ready to engage meaningfully and stand with PJCA from the core of your heart, you are welcome to move ahead and demonstrate that commitment through action.

Engagement with Culture

Members participate in thoughtfully curated cultural programs, exhibitions, film screenings, literary gatherings, lectures, and discussions aimed at deepening cultural understanding.

Learning and Intellectual Exchange

PJCA supports intellectual growth by sharing information on scholarships, academic exchange programs, language learning, and research opportunities related to Japan.

Opportunities to Contribute

Members are encouraged to contribute their ideas, skills, time, and expertise to PJCA initiatives, helping shape programs and strengthen the Association’s impact.

A Volunteer-Driven Commitment

PJCA operates entirely on volunteer effort. Membership involves offering your services willingly and sincerely for the cause of Pakistan–Japan friendship. There are no financial or commercial benefits—only the satisfaction of meaningful cultural contribution.
