Japanese Calendars Exhibition 2000 Held in Islamabad
February 4–6, 2000
The Embassy of Japan in Pakistan, in collaboration with the Pakistan Japan Cultural Association (PJCA), Islamabad, organized the annual Japanese Calendars Exhibition 2000, one of the most popular spring cultural events in the capital.
The exhibition was held from February 4 to 6, 2000, showcasing a wide variety of beautifully designed Japanese calendars reflecting Japan’s culture, art, and seasonal aesthetics.
The event was jointly inaugurated on February 4, 2000, at 4:00 PM by:
- His Excellency Mr. Minoru Kubota, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan
- Syed Ijlal Haider Zaidi, President, PJCA Islamabad
The exhibition attracted a large number of visitors and served as an important platform to promote cultural understanding and appreciation between Pakistan and Japan.
