PJCA Celebrates 30th Anniversary

The Pakistan Japan Cultural Association (PJCA), Islamabad, celebrated its 30th Anniversary on May 18, 2001, marking three decades of dedicated service in promoting cultural ties between Pakistan and Japan.

Founded in the early 1972 with the patronage of the Embassy of Japan in Pakistan by a small group of committed members, PJCA has played a vital role in strengthening bilateral relations through cultural exchange programs, exhibitions, educational initiatives, and people-to-people contacts.

In his message, Hafiz S. A. Rehman (Vice President) highlighted:

  • PJCA’s continued efforts in fostering friendship
  • Its role in cultural diplomacy
  • The importance of sustained collaboration between the two nations

Over the years, PJCA has contributed significantly to enhancing mutual understanding through various cultural activities and partnerships with the Embassy of Japan.
