Syed Ijlal Haider Zaidi, President of the Pakistan Japan Cultural Association, hosted a dinner in honor of Takanori Shibata, a visiting scientist from Japan.
Among the distinguished guests were Yukitaka Kawaguchi, accompanying Dr. Shibata; Mr. and Mrs. Tamura and Mr. and Mrs. Masamoto, First Secretaries; Mr. Hokuto Kaya, First Secretary; Mr. Teruki Hanazawa, First Secretary; Ms. Kuniko Nakamura, First Secretary; and Ms. Mayumi Tsubakimoto, Third Secretary. Also present was Akihiko Ichikawa, Chairman of the Japan Association, Islamabad, along with Mushtaq Moeeni from the Embassy of Japan.
The dinner was attended by several members of PJCA including Hafiz S. A. Rehman, Toshiko Orita, Zaheer Bhatti, Shakeel Ahmed, Behram Shah, Nusrat Ara Majeed, Kamran Niaz, Abdul Qadir Haye, Fauzia Minallah, and Shahid Hussain.
The gathering provided an opportunity for members of PJCA and Japanese guests to interact in a cordial environment and further strengthen cultural understanding and friendship between Pakistan and Japan.
