
Mr. Jamal Shah, President of the Pakistan Japan Cultural Association (PJCA), was specially invited to attend the performance of Japanese singer Shoji Kenta at the residence of H.E. Mr. WADA Mitsuhiro, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, on May 14, 2024. A select audience of music lovers and distinguished guests enjoyed the show.
Mr. Kenta performed songs in Japanese, English, and Urdu, delighting the audience with Pakistani hits “Dil Dil Pakistan” and “Aitebar.” Starting piano at age 20, he has produced music across Soul, R&B, Rock, Pop, and Jazz, releasing his album “Skip” in 2022 and performing worldwide.
At the event’s conclusion, President PJCA Jamal Shah presented a bouquet to Mr. Kenta, while young PJCA member Ms. Smeeha Khaliq gifted her artwork and illustration books to the artist, the Ambassador, and PJCA, highlighting the association’s support for youth in cultural exchange.
