A meeting of the Executive Committee of Pakistan Japan Cultural Association, Islamabad under the chairmanship of Syed Jamal Shah, President PJCA, Islamabad was held at the Silk Road Culture Center, Sir Syed Memorial Society, Ataturk Avenue, G-5/1, Islamabad on July 13, 2024 at 6 pm. Ms. Rubeena Orita, Dr. Shahida Mansoor, Mr. Aminullah Baig, Executive Members and Mr. Mushtaq Moeeni, Secretary General (Focal Person) attended the meeting. In the meeting the sad demise of Mr. Wajahat Latif, Executive Member of PJCA was condoled. A fateha was offered for the departed soul.
It was decided to hold the group Exhibition of Japanese Woodblock Prints in the last week of September or the first week of October 2024. Dr. Shahida Mansoor will be the curator of this exhibition. The first ever get-together of all PJCA members including the recently inducted regular members was also approved. The President desired to organize Japanese popular cultural programs such as Ikebana workshop, Japanese Music, Japanese food, Haiku poetry, Ikebana calendars exhibition etc. The meeting ended with the vote of thanks.
