CONDOLENCE MEETING FOR LATE PRESIDENT OF PJCA
A condolence meeting was held in Islamabad to pay homage, tributes and respect to the departed soul of Mr. Justice Ali Nawaz Chowhan, late President of Pakistan Japan Cultural Association, Islamabad on September 16, 2023. Old friends, associates and his family members attended. The meeting started with the recitation of Quran by Hafiz. S.A. Rehman followed by a joint dua for the departed soul for resting his soul in peace in heavens. Everyone extended their heartfelt sympathies on the passing of Mr. Justice Ali Nawaz Chowhan. All the participants share their bereavement in the loss of this great and good man. Everyone assured that their thoughts and prayers were always with him and with his family’s grief. Hafiz S.A. Rehman, a fifty years old friend of Mr. Chowhan, Barrister Qasim Ali Chowhan son, Prof. Dr. Nusrat Ara Majeed, Senior Vice President PJCA, Ms. Nigar Nazar and Ms. Rubeena Orita Executive members of PJCA, Mr. Mushtaq Moeeni, Secretary General of PJCA, Mr. Shakil Ahmed, an old friend of Mr. Justice Ali Nawaz Chowhan and Mr. Ryuji Iwasaki, Head of Public Affairs, the Embassy of Japan, Islamabad many others participated in the condolence meeting.
